Akash Kumar

I grew up in Los Angeles and stayed in California for college, studying Political Science at UC Davis with minors in Film and Managerial Economics. After college—and a brief but glorious stint playing in a band—I headed to the east coast for law school.

I began my legal career in big law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions at Sidley Austin and Goodwin Procter. Eventually, I found my way to the world of venture capital, working with a number of early-stage companies at AngelList. These days at Weinberger & Logan, I get to continue doing high-level work helping startups and investors turn big ideas into reality.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find me shooting hoops, producing music, or deep into a video game or D&D campaign.
